Dr Elizabeth “Brooke” Spencer is an interventional radiologist, and serves as the Medical Director and CEO of Minimally Invasive Procedure Specialists in South Denver, Colorado. Dr. Spencer has been Chairman of Radiology and Interventional Radiology at Littleton Adventist Hospital for many years. Prior to serving in this role, she was on staff and served as Medical Director (2011-2015) of the RIA Endovascular Clinic.
Dr. Spencer is internationally renowned for treatment of patients with chronic DVT and PTS and performs all IR procedures. She has treated thousands of patients experiencing the effects of chronic (old) deep vein blood clots with advanced techniques that are not offered in most IR practices . Her other main focuses include, women’s treatments -pelvic venous congestion and uterine fibroids and she has a fairly large renal cryoablation and interventional oncology practice as well.

E Brooke Spencer, MD, FSIR received recognition as “Best Doctors” in the Denver Business Journal’s August 7-13, 2015 edition.
Dr. Spencer was voted into Fellowship of the Society of Interventional Radiology (a high honor) for her contributions to the field.
Dr. Spencer has been principle investigator on several research projects over the years, has multiple publications and is a dedicated educator, speaking at society meetings across the country. She has been president of the Western Angiographic and Interventional Society, serves in the venous service line for the Society of Interventional Radiology and was a founding member of the non -profit organization the Interventional Initiative. The ii was formed to provide patient education on high level minimally invasive image guided procedures that can replace surgery. She was featured in the first of a series of 12 documentaries (www.withoutascalpel.com).
Outside the Office
Dr. Spencer can be found spending time with her family. She enjoys golfing, biking, and skiing in the great Colorado outdoors.
